An Elegant Evening

Flushing House hosted 39 residents on our rooftop for an elegant evening of fine dining, great music and even better company. The Flushing House Culinary Staff from FLIK prepares these specialty dinners well in advance. They promote them within Flushing House as an opportunity for a night out without having to leave the building.

For dinner, residents were treated to a menu hand-crafted by Executive Chef Dennis Grobe, the resident’s regular chef each day. The menu included Bacon Wrapped Diver Scallops, Filet Mignon with Colossal Gulf Shrimp, Chilean Sea Bass, and New Zealand Baby Lamb Chops, just to name a few.

Music was played throughout the evening to set the mood. The breathtaking views of New York City were taken in by all. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Culinary Team to Showcase their skills and at the same time, provide an unforgettable dining experience for our residents.
