Employee Holiday Fund
Flushing House has an official policy not permitting our employees to receive tips or any special gifts. We believe that staff should deliver the same high-quality service to every resident. Furthermore, those who labor behind the scenes are as important to our high level of service but are often forgotten in receiving our gratitude. The care of our residents is a team approach – the final product is not the effort of just one person or department but a host of individuals who work together to provide the highest quality of service at Flushing House.
Many residents and family members wish to do something to show their gratitude to our dedicated employees. To recognize each employee’s efforts equally, an Employee Holiday Fund has been established. All gifts received will be added up and divided equally amongst the entire staff.
If you would like to say “Thank You” to all the employees, please place your contribution in the rent box next to the resident services office. If you wish to pay by check, please make your check payable to Flushing House, and send it in as soon as possible.

Employee Holiday Fund – Our residents often speak of their very positive experiences here, especially our helpful and caring staff. Many express a desire to do something in return. Since employees cannot accept individual gifts from residents, we have an annual holiday gift drive and donations are divided equally amongst the staff.
